Blackberry has finally officially announced their BlackBerry Strom 2.


What’s finally come to light in an official sense, are the features which include -

• 3.2-inch Transmissive TFT LCD touchscreen with a 480 x 360 pixel color display resolution
• Next Gen SurePress technology for the touchscreen
• One version will be 3G compatible while others will support EDGE/GPRS
• Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and AVCRP, USB 2.0
• GPS with A-GPS support (BlackBerry Maps)
• 3.2MP AF camera with image stabilization
• 2 GB Embedded Multimedia Card, 256 MB Flash Memory (MicroSD card support)
• 3.5mm handsfree socket

What does seem to be missing from the specs is the handset's video playback capabilities viz. DivX and XviD format support.
